Simone Di Zio is Associate Professor in Social Statistics at the University G. d’Annunzio Chieti-Pescara (Italy), where he teaches “criminology statistics”. He is Co-chair of the Italian Node of the Millennium Project and member of the Italian Statistical Society. His scientific activities deal with Spatial Statistics, Delphi methods and IRT models. He is expert in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and fractal geometry. He has published about 40 articles and is the inventor of the Spatial Delphi and Spatial Shang methods.
