We are thrilled to announce the publication of two main papers:

  • Calleo, Y., & Pilla, F. (2023). Delphi-based future scenarios: a bibliometric analysis of climate change case studies. Futures, 103143. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.futures.2023.103143
  • Calleo, Y., Di Zio, S., & Pilla, F. (2023). Facilitating spatial consensus in complex future scenarios through Real‐Time Spatial Delphi: A novel web‐based open platform. Futures & Foresight Science, e155. https://doi.org/10.1002/ffo2.155

In the first paper, we conducted a systematic review of Delphi-based scenarios applied to climate change context using quantitative bibliometric analysis. We investigated the scientific literature path, and implemented it with a multiple correspondence analysis and a semantic network analysis, in order to establish new guidelines for future Delphi-based climate research projects.

In the second paper, we introduce “Real-Time Geo-Spatial Consensus System” (www.rtgscs.com), our novel web-based open platform useful for the development of Delphi-based Spatial Scenarios (DBSS). This platform employs the Real-Time Spatial Delphi technique to achieve spatial agreement among experts. It provides researchers, decision-makers, policymakers, and local authorities with a new tool for making complex spatial decisions.

The paper has been accepted in two important scientific Journals: (1) Futures (https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/futures) and (2) Futures & Foresight Science (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/25735152) in open access.
